Marvin Rubin is an illustrator, designer, and educator. He was chair of the Advertising Design Department at Chouinard Art Institute in the 1960's, and taught in the Illustration department at California State University Long Beach in the mid 1980s to the early 1990s.
Marvin won a gold medal in the New York Art Director's show in 1956 for an ad for Chevrolet.
His illustrations have been featured in various editorial publications over the years.
He has written and illustrated articles on design issues for Communication Arts, Graphis, Art Direction and many other publications. Marvin is now retired and lives in Las Vegas. |
