This documentary features interviews with 20 outstanding Los Angeles graphic designers originally videotaped in 1986. This project was conceived as a visual historical documentary on graphic design in Los Angeles, and was shot in the designer's studio. The documentary is 33 minutes, and now available in DVD.
Some of the questions asked were:
What school did you attend?
Who were your idols?
What is your philosophy of design?
What is more important, making money or doing quality work?
What is your advice to students?
And to teachers?
How do you relax?
What are some of your new goals and challenges?
How would you like to be remembered?
I believe you will agree that their answers are even more relevant today.
