Dennis Juett initially went to USC to become a dentist. He switched to pre-med his sophomore year, and decided to become a medical illustrator. He went to John Hopkins University in 1955, then came back to UCLA for 2 years, and finished at Art Center.
Juett freelanced for a year, before going into the military for 2 years where he played golf most of the time. In 1960, Dennis worked for Douglas Aircraft for 9 months in the publication department. Then, he went to Hixson and Jorgensen, Inc., advertising, for a year and a half. Finally, he moved on to Faust Day, Inc., advertising, and stayed there for 8 years.
Dennis formed a partnership with Don Weller, and opened Weller & Juett, Inc. in 1970. Their business flourished for several years. In 1973, He opened Dennis S. Juett & Associates, Inc. His firm's slogan is: "Where Creativity is not a lost Art."
