Doug is president of Boyd Communications. His design firm was the first in Los Angeles to embrace computer technology. Doug has earned the respect of local designers by taking time to mentor young designers about this business for over 40 year.

Doug's firm has won awards in all of the major competitions, including a gold medal
in the New York Art Directors Show. He has judged many award competitions over the years.
